Job Description
We are looking for a Java Developer to join our partner’s team in Budapest.
What will you do?
- Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to recommend and implement solutions
- Define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and interpreting code.
- Consult with users, clients and other technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
- Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities, conduct testing and debugging.
Qualifications
Requirements
- University/college degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a quantitative field such as Math, Statistics.
- Fluent English knowledge.
- minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Java.
- Knowledge of Agile software development processes.
- Excellent grasp of Object Oriented Design and Concurrent programming concepts.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them to technical functionality.
Good to have:
- Experience in SQL and database concepts; knowledge of scripting languages.
- Experience working in a Capital Markets firm (Investment Bank/Investment Management) with basic understanding of Derivatives and Risk management.
- Demonstrated capacity to build tooling for development team use.
