Java Developer

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Java Developer to join our partner's team in Budapest.

Your responsibilities will be:

• support release builds and ensure appropriate testing
• be involved in development and testing of new initiates
• overseeing development, testing and release standards
• work with quant strategies group to raise back testing capacities and review code
• solve problems independently, manage your own workload
• ensure high technical standards
• develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas integrate within apps
• pro-actively drive tasks to completion

Qualifications

Our requirements:

• minimum 1-2 years experience of Java 8, Java server side development
• full technology stack knowledge (Java to Linux and networks)
• experience with REST based API
• experience or knowledge in SDLC tools (Ansible, Git, Jenkins…)
• knowledge of Java multithreading
• strong team player, who can work independently
• knowledge of messaging middleware – such as Kafka/Timco EMS
• experience or knowledge of trading systems
• university degree – Master's is preferred

Advantages:
