Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned leader to manage an Application Support Group in Hungary. The ideal candidate has 7+ years solid experience in an Apps Support role and 4+ years experience as a leader. Keep up reading and join the Team! 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Application and Production Support of business critical applications
  • Businesses escalation point within EMEA for any production incidents
  • Investigation of any issues escalated
  • Work closely with the EMEA and global business teams and with globally based technology teams
  • Ensure that the applications are available and supported in line with the defined system service level agreement
  • Support stability initiatives and work to achieve corporate and Global Production Support goals in reducing outages and improving resolution times
  • Responsible for management of all production support financials related to on-going budgets/forecasts and client chargebacks for their respective STLT portfolios
  • Drive continued cost reductions and efficiencies across the portfolios
  • Support and assist Capacity-planning process/cycles
  • Issue management, liaising with the required development and 3rd level support teams globally on procedural, audit issues and COB tests
  • Record and document accurately and in a timely manner support activities, which should include support tasks and outages
  • Identify reoccurring issues and resolve accordingly
  • Participate in scheduled project status meetings


Requirements for the position:

  • 7+ years experience in an Apps Support role, SQL background
  • 4+ years experience as a leader
  • People Management skills
  • Highly assertive communications skills, commanding personality
  • Ability to engage a large audience and lead the discussion with clear, articulate, and highly assertive communication
  • Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders
  • Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams 
  • Working with global teams requires a flexible approach
  • Excellent oral and written English skills
