Agile Senior Project Manager – Finance

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join our partner's Regulatory Project Leadership team. The team's primary responsibility is to provide leadership and drive implementation approach strategy and delivery of strategic initiatives, management of resources and technology portfolio budget in coordination with other team's in the EMEA region.

What will you do:

• Leading the implementation of a complex multi-year project (end to end), with multiple systems, functions and countries involved
• Work in partnership with multiple stakeholders, report project status updates to all stakeholders including senior management
• Consistently apply Project Management standards to ensure compliant delivery of assigned projects at all times
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed
• Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
• Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
• Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework and achieve higher levels of scrum maturity

Qualifications

What will you need:

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience in a multinational environment (preferably as PM/PMO)
• Prior experience within the Finance / Banking industry 
• Strong project management skills previously deployed in agile projects (Scrum and/or Kanban)
• Experience managing both agile and traditional projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting 
• Experience of working with DevOps or Software Engineering teams and working with CI/CD
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Expert communication skills in English and Hungarian (written and oral)
• Interest in Financial Processes and Systems 
• Strong analytical, organizational, planning, time management skills 
• Results oriented, excellent problem solver
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision

Preferred:

• Excellent knowledge of the Finance products / Finance systems infrastructure 
• Good knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (Basel III / CRD IV) 
• Project Management certificate  (PMP, Prince 2, etc.)
